Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for
grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 3, Cruickshank's
Garden Lots, Beaurline Addition, Beaurline's 2nd Addition, Ilealey's Sub., Block 1,
Mealey's Addition and Block 1, J. N. Roger's 3rd Addition, from Kennard St. to Germain
St. Also constructing a sever in the alley from a point 90 ft. west of Kennard St. to
the existing sever in Kennard St.,
under Preliminary Order 171017 , approved November 2 , 1954. -
Intermediary Order 171722 , approved January 25, 1955
Final Order 172034 , approved February 23, 1955
The assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 3rd
day of July , 19_56_, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
