A public hearing having •een had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, obje ions and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Counal of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the s:id City is. restore the sidewalk on both sides of Case Ave.
from Cypress St. to Earl St. by constructing new sidewalk where necessary and by
repairing where practica ,
and the Council hereby orders s.id improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, hat the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and •.pecifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said appro al, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said i provement in accordance therewith.

The Commissioner of Works, having had under consideration the prelimin-
ary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 1821.1914 approved
April 25th, 19 57 , relative to the restoration of the sidewalk on both
sides of Case Ave. from Cypress St. to Ear]l. St. by constructing new sidewalk where
necessary and by re ap firing where practical.
and having investigated he matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
