Contract G -830 was awarded to Hoffmann Electric for new
lighting at Arlington Hills Branch Library and Riverview
Branch Library, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it was
found necessary to remove abandoned electrical conduit in
the attic space to facilitate the installation of the
steel joists, and at the request of the Commissioner of
Libraries, Auditorium, Museums -And Stadia, negotiations
have been conducted with the contractor for this work. The
negotiated price for this work is $75.00, which we believe
is a reasonable amount for the work involved.
It'is, therefore, requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of
$75.00 to Contract Number G -830 to cover the above describ-
ed work.
