Dear Council Members:
ROBERT A. LOWELL
Supt. of Public Recreation
We have completed a number of inspections of the dwelling
at 456 Palace Avenue, described as Lot 13, Block 28, Sub, m
of Blocks 28 and 29, Stinson, Brown & Ramseyts Addition. U"
o a
This is a two room, single family dwelling, approximately
42 by 14. The kitchen ceiling height and rafter spacing
are illegal, there are no water or sewer facilities, no
central heating plant. The siding is warped. It is our
conclusion that the building is dilapidated beyond repair,
unsafe and unfit for human habitation, and should be wreck-
ed and removed.
A Danger Notice has been posted and the last known record
owner is Louis P. Swanson, deceased,
Please set a hearing date for condemnation action in accord-
ance with Section 1.07 -2 of the St. Paul Legislative Code.
Yours truly,
C lfr H. Schroeder
