Council City of St. Paul Dear Council Members: This Department has caused an inspection to be made of the building known as 645 University Avenue, which is described as Lot 25 and West 13.8 feet of Lot 26, Block 1, Syndicate No. 1 Addition. This is a commercial building used as a machine shop, frame, badly fire damaged, beyond reasonable repair and dangerous to life, limb,-and adjoining property. It is approximately 122 feet by 52 feet, one story high. The west wall of the building has bulged and has sagged. Extensive damage was done to the roof, side walls and interior partitions and the roof is in danger of falling. Danger Notices have been posted. The record owner is C & F Machine Works (Mr. Allen Freeman), 440 West Minnehaha Avenue, St. Paul 3.
