THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF liAINT PAUL DOTS ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to pay, out of toe Water Department Fund, to the
Hazelden Foundation, the sum of Six Hundred Seventy -five and no /100 `,-
Dollars ($675.00) in full settlement of its claim against said City
and its Board of Vater'Commissioners for damage to its property..
at 6$0 Stewart Avenue,�Saint Paul on or .about January 26, 1961,
because of blasting operations conducted by said Board in the
vicinity of said property. _
Section 2.1, Said sum shall be paid to said claimant
upon its execution -and delivery of a release in full to said City
.and said Board, in a form to be .approved by the Corporation Counsel,
for all damages sustained by it in the manner aforesaid.
Section 3J This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health, land safety.
Section /i..I This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and. after its passage, approval, and publication.
