An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3250-1, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance relating to the
Civil Service Bureau of the City of Saint Paul, approving and
adopting rules and regulations. therefor, 11
approved August 20, 1914,1 as amended. This is an emergency ordinance
rendered neces.sary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety.
THE COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3.25021, approved August 20, 1914,
as amended, b.e and the same is hereby further amended by striking out
Section, 9 B, and by substiLting in lieu thereof, the following:

9 11B Every regular, provisional and probationary employee, except those'
paid under Section 8,'G of these Rules, shall receive such holidays.

employee is required to work such day, he shall be granted another
day off with pay, in lieu thereof, as soon thereafter as the convenience

Section 2. This offrdinance is hereby declared to be an emergency_ •
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation, of the public peace,
health and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and' b� in force from
and after June 16, 1961.
