MINN. 1 -1 WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, has entered into a Contract with the United States of America, Contract No. LG -1 dated March 2i 1953 for Project Temporary Loan in the amount of Two Million Eight Hundred Seventy -five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty -one Dollars ($2,8759851.00) and the Project Capital Grant in the amount of One Million Eight Hundred Sixty -five Thousand Three Hundred Seventy -six Dollars ($1,865,376.00) for the undertaking of the project described in said Contract; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and the United States of America, on August 11, 1960, entered into a Second Amendatory Contract amending Loan and Grant Con -. tract U.R. Minn. LG -1 wherein the Project Temporary Loan authorization was revised to Two Million Five F*_ ;ndred Fifty Thousand Four Hundred Sixty - six Dollars ($2,550,466.00) and the Trc;;ect Capital Grant authorization . was revised to One Million One Hundred Thirty -eight Thousand Sik Dollars ($1,138,006.00); and WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 61- 12/6 -5 the Authority authorized the filing of a further Amendatory Application for Loan and Grant for said project which would increase the Project Capital Grant in said project to One Million Two Hundred Ninety -one Thousand Eight Hundred Forty -five Dollars - ($1,2919845.00); and WHEREAS, it has been determined that a further revision in the Project Capital Grant authorization is necessary to an amount of One Million Three Hundred Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred Eighty -five Dollars C.';2,313,585-00) is necessary in order that the project may be properly and successfully carried out; and WHEREAS, to accomplish such a revision it is necessary to file Applica- tion for Amendatory Loan and Grant for said project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, that an application for Amendatory Loan and Grant on behalf of said Authority be filed for the following reason: 1. For an increase in the Project Capital Grant in said project as amended from One Million One Hundred Thirty - eight Thousand Six Dollars ($1,1389006.00) to the max- imum amount of One Million ThT:e Hundred Thirteen Thou- sand Five Hundred Eightt f` f-s iollars ($19313,585.00) being the maximum amount available under Title I of the Housing Act of 1949 as amended prior to August 2, 1954• 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the aforesaid application is hereby approved and the proper officers of the Authority are authorized and directed to file such application for Amendatory Loan and Grant with the Hous- ing and Home Finance Agency and to provide such additional information, to furnish such documents as may be required on behalf of the Authority and to act as the Authorized correspondents of the Housing and Redevel- opment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
