RESOLVED, that Autobody Supply Company be per-
mitted to install and operate a 41 car customer and
employee parking lot on property on the southeast corner
of Kellogg Boulevard and Smith Avenue, more particularly
described as Lots 1 through 7 of H. L. Carver's Subd'n
of Lots 1 and 2, Block 53 of Rice & Irvine's Add. to Saint
Paul, Minn, in accordance with plans approved February 15,
1962, subject to compliance with the provisions of all
ordinances governing the operation of parking lots, and`to
the condition that the sidewalk abutting said premises be
lept clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of,tbe application of the Autobody Supply Company
for a permit to install and operate a 41 car customer and employee park-
ing lot on property described as Lots 1 tbru 7, H. L. Carvers Sub'. and
located at the southeast corner of Kellogg Boulevard and Smith Avenue.
On October 7, 1961, the City Council granted a permit for a parking lot
on this site, but it was not constructed; The site is presently vacant
and has a frontage of 100.2 feet on Smith Avenue and 141.9 feet on Kellogg
Boulevard, resulting in approximately 14,840 square feet of ground area.
The Traffic Engineer's office and the Planning Board staff have reviewed.
the applicant's plans and inspected the site, and find said proposal to
be in accordance with the standards for this type of facility. The
surrounding area uses are commercial in character.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends the
granting of the permit to install and operate a 41 car customer and employee
parking lot on the above property in accordance with plans approved
February 15, 1962.
