RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications for new traffic signals
at Cleveland.Avenue and St. Clair Avenue, Shepard Road and Chestnut Street,
Hamline Avenue and Grand Avenue, Hamline Avenue and Summit Avenue, Fair-
view Avenue and Randolph Avenue, Fairview Avenue and Jefferson Avenue,
Fairview Avenue and St. Clair Avenue, and Fairview Avenue and Grand Avenue,
and for interconnecting traffic signals on-Fairview Avenue from Randolph
Avenue to Summit Avenue, and on Cleveland Avenue from St. Clair Avenue
to Summit Avenue, as submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works are
hereby approved and the purchasing agent is hereby authorized to adver-
tise for bids thereon in the manner provided in and by the Charter. Each
lump sum bid shall be-accompanied by a statement of the total cost of
each of the ten signa,i�=installations. The sum of the ten cost statements
shall equal the lump bid. The lump sum bid shall be the basis for con-
sideration of award of contract, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the cost of the above traffic signal projects be fi-
nanced from PIR Fund Code 3001, same fund to be reimbursed from Municipal
State Aid dnd.from County Aid as follows: -
1. Cleveland Avenue and St. Clair Avenue, Shepard Road and Chest-
nut Street, and Cleveland Avenue interconnection from St. Clair
Avenue to Summit Avenue, 100% County Aid.
2. Hamline Avenue and Grand Avenue (Project No. 64- 145 -03 ),
Hamline Avenue and Summit Avenue-(Project No. 64- 145 -04),
Fairview Avenue and Randolph Avenue (Project No. 64- 132 -04),
Fairview Avenue and Jefferson Avenue (Project No. 64- 132 -05),
Fairview Avenue and St. Clair Avenue (Project No. 64- 132 -06),
Fai -rview Avenue and Grand Avenue (Project No. 64- 13:Z-07), and
Fairview Avenue interconnection from Randolph Avenue to Summit
Avenue (Project No. 64- 132'• -08), 100% Municipal State Aid.
