Dear Madam;
This is in the matter of the application of the Dayton Company
for a permit to install and operate a 615 car parking ramp as an
integral part of their new store building now under construction
and which will be located in the block bounded by Sixth, Wabasha,
Seventh and Cedar Streets. The subject property is described as
all of Block 6, St. Paul Proper and is zoned c96mercial.
The site was recently cleared of its retail uses. The surrounding
area uses are also entirely commercial and field investigation
discloses -no objection to the proposal. The Traffic Engineer's
office and our office have reviewed the applicant's proposal and
find it meets the standards for this type of facility.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the applicati n for a permit to construct a parking
ramp on the above described property in accordance with plans
approved May 3, 1962.
