Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for
improving Highland Parkway from Hamlin Avenue to Edgcumbe Road by regrading and paving
with new concrete base and asphaltic concrete surfacing; by grading and paving street
alley and driveway returns; by constructing new concrete curb where necessary; by re-
constructing the paving, curbing and sidewalks on intersecting streets where not in
conformity with said improvement; by reconstructing storm water facilities; by con-
structing sewer, water and gas service connections from street mains to property lines
where necessary; by constructing conduits and appurtenances for future lighting and
traffic control systems and by doigg all other work which is necessary and incidental
to complete said improvement
under Preliminary Order 191510 , approved March 26, 199 ,
Intermediary Order 192979 approved July 1, 1959 ,
Final Order 193290 , approved jul_v 28, 1959 ,
The assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said, assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on th izth
day of ,diuies 1962 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
