FffmLVII , that hereby all employees of the City of Saint
Paul are granted one -half day holiday or leave from work, with pay,
on the day next preceding Christmas Day of 1962.,.-and New Year's
Day of 1963, and such of said employees who -are required in the
interests of the service of said City to forego such one -half day
holiday or leave on said days or on either of them, shall be granted
comparable leave on another day or days from work with pay, to be
:appointed by the head of the department concerned.
