This resol tion will increase the rate of pay for the Building Code Officer classification from SPSO Grade 31 to SPSO Grade 32. This action is �a result of a classification and compensation study, which was perforkned at the request of the Community Services Director. The position �as compared to other Community Service division heads (currentlylpaid in SPSO Grade 32) and evaluated using the Quantitati�,�ve Evaluation System. The comparisons showed that the duties and; responsibilities of the Building Code Officer classifica;tion were equivalent to those performed by other division heads in Cpmmunity Services, and the QES evaluation placed the rate of pay in ISPSO Grade 32. �I COST BENEF T BUDGETARY AND PERSONNEL IMPACTS ANTICIPATED: Cost: Thi action affects one individual for a total additional cost of $1,77i. 0 per year. Additional cost in 1988: None. Implementation anticipated for after December 3 , 1988.
