WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, acting through its
Valuation Engineer, has secured an agreement for the purchase of
that certain property described as follows:

Sout�h 1/2 of Lot 15, Block 1, Subdivision of Block
13, iStinson' s Division of the City of Saint Paul
WHEREAS � the urchase of the ro ert herein described is

necessary f�r the widening of Dale Street between Sherburne and
Van Buren Av�nues.
WHEREAS � compensation to the property owner is in the amount
of $45,0'00, �it being a fair and reasonable price for the subject
property ac�ording to the appraisal obtained by the Valuation
Engineer; an�
WHEREASi, the Valuation Engineer has recommended the purchase
of said prop�erty at the price stated above;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials
are hereby aluthorized and directed to pay Esther Miller, owner of
record , th� sum of $45, 000 . The conditions of said sale are
contained iIn the Memorandum for Sale of Real Estate; said
memoradndum ! is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference. � Said sum to be charqed to Funding Source (88-2G003-
0788-25419) .;
