The meeting was called to order by President Wilson at 7:20 P.M.
Present - 5- Councilmembers Grimm, Long, Maccabee, Rettman, Wilson
Absent - 2- Councilmembers Guerin, Thune
1. Resolution - 93-1593 - approving 1994-1995 Community Health Services (CHS) Plan and
updating the 1994-1995 Indian Health Grant for Saint Paul and Suburban Ramsey County.
Councilmember Rettman said she did not have time to review the report and moved a
lay over until October 28th.
Roll Call Yeas - 5 Nays - 0
6. Update on Thomas-Dale Block Club Pilot Project for Summary Abatements.
Gary Pechmann reviewed the pilot project and said it was successful.
Council President Wilson spoke in favor of the program and said a resolution would be
._ coming to the Council to extend the program.
Council President Wilson left the meeting at this time and did not return.
3. Resolution - 93-1594 - approving the administration of the local WIC (Women, Infants and
Children) Supplemental Food Program for Saint Paul and Suburban Ramsey County.
Councilmember Maccabee moved approval.
Adopted Yeas - 4 Nays - 0
4. Resolution - 93-1595 - approving Board of Health support of the 1994-1995 Saint Paul
Maternal and Child Health Grant application to the Minnesota Department of Health.
Councilmembers Long and Maccabee moved approval.

5. Resolution - 93-1596 - approving a contract between the City of Saint Paul acting through
Saint Paul Public Health and the Minnesota Department of Health to administer a refugee
Health Tracking Program for Ramsey County.
Councilmember Maccabee moved approval.
Adopted Yeas - 4 Nays - 0
9. Update on Saint Paul Community Clinic Services.
Peg Labore, Director of Family Tree gave a brief update; highlighted the number of people
served and their income levels.
