Fire Code. 11 12 Section 2 13 14 Section 55.04 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended to read as follows: IS 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 Sec. 55.04. �;i�-Permit far temuorarv membrane structures, tents and canopies. a. As required bv and in compliance with the Minnesota State Fire Code no nerson may install or allow to be installed an air-supnorted temporary membrane structure or a tent having an area in excess of 200 squaze feet, ar a canopy in excess of 400 squue feet without a permit. For tents smaller than 200 square feet ar canopies smaller than 400 square feet one permit shall be re�uired for every 200 square feet of shuctures or tents or 400 square feet of canonies within a 50 foot radius. A minimum clearance of 12 feet to sh and other tents shall be_provided "Air-supported temporarv structure" "tenY' and "canony" shall have the definitions found in the Minnesota State Fire Code. b A nernut appiicant must ap�ly on a form provided by the Denartment of Safet�and Inspections prior to the installation of the membrane structure tent or canopv An on-site inspecrion and a�proval shall be required before the membrane structure tent or canopv can be occupied c Permit apnlicant shall obtain any other necessary license or permits before the shucture tent or canopv can be occupied. These permits may include extension of service lacenses hazardous materials permits or electrical permits. d. No smoking shall be allowed in any tent. e.
