04-65Council File # '�"1��� 2 � 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 Presented By Referred To Committee: Date An ordinance amending Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to zoning far the City of Saint Paul with changes for the Sun Ray-Suburban zoning maps WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized under Minnesota Statutes Section 462357 and Section 64.400 of the Legislative Code to adopt the summary of the Sun Ray-Suburban Small Area Plan as an addendum to the Comprehensive Plan and to adopt zone changes implementnig the Small Area plan summary; and WI�REAS, the Planning Commission initiated a 40-Acre Study on February 14, 2003, for the purposed of considering amendments to the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to the Sun Ray-Suburban area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Sun Ray-Suburban SmalZAreaPlan summary and 40- Acre Study on December 5, 2003, notice of which was mailed to all property owners in the study area and was published in the Saint Paul Pioneer Press on November 11, November 18 and November 25, 2003; and WHEREAS, after consideration of the public testimony and the recommendations of the City staff, the Planning Commission on December 19, 2003, recommended approval ofthe rezonings as proposed priorto the public hearing; and WI�REAS, notice of a public hearing before the City Council on Sun Ray-Suburban zoning proposals was duly mailed to all property owners in the study azea and was duly published in the official newspaper of the City on �/,� �/ ��j ; and WIIEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council having been conducted on ��� at which all interested parties were given an opporiunity to be heard, the Council having considered all the facts and recommendations concerning the Sun Ray-Suburban zoning proposals; now therefore THE COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1.
