The Council of the City of Saint Paul does ordain:
SECTION 1.
11 Saint Paul Legislative Code Chapter 166.02 is amended to read as follows:

Three residents of Area 2 submitted petitions to intensify the permit parking restrictions because No Parking Except by Permit
8AM-8PM Mon: Fri. restriction allows Police to immediately tag violators without permits; whereas with One Hour Parking
8AM-SPM Mon.-Fri. Except by Permit restriction, police had to retum later to issue a ticket, which doesn't always happen.
Students take advantage of grace period. District Councii 12 supports these petitioners. (See attached letter).

At the meeting last night of the St Anthony Park Couununity Council, the matter of petitions to change a portion of
the wrrenY permit pazldng ordiI�ance for this neighborhood was brought forth from the Housing and Human Senrices
Committce.
T�S comm�ttee, at their January 26, 2000 meeting heard from residents who petitioned their block faces to change
the peimit parking ordinauce and affected residents, and the City, represented by you. The committee snpporte� a
maion ttiat was brought to the Fuil Council at their meeting on March 8, 2000. A number of residents of the
affected block faces also attended the meeting
After heazing the morion from the committee and discussioq the motion was amended slightty, then•�oted on by ihe
members of the Full Council The vote was one abstenUon, the rest in favor.
The committee and the Full Council recom�end support of the pazking pernut petitions to change the pazlang
restric[ions from the current one hour pazking, g a m— 5 p.m, Monday — Friday, except by permit azea 2 to no
F�� g am- — 8 p.m, Monciay — Friday, except by permit azea 2 on the following streets:
• Dudley Ave. from Cleveland Ave. to Chelmsford St

At the meeting last night of the St Anthony Park Couununity Council, the matter of petitions to change a portion of
the wrrenY permit pazldng ordiI�ance for this neighborhood was brought forth from the Housing and Human Senrices
Committce.
T�S comm�ttee, at their January 26, 2000 meeting heard from residents who petitioned their block faces to change
the peimit parking ordinauce and affected residents, and the City, represented by you. The committee snpporte� a
maion ttiat was brought to the Fuil Council at their meeting on March 8, 2000. A number of residents of the
affected block faces also attended the meeting
After heazing the morion from the committee and discussioq the motion was amended slightty, then•�oted on by ihe
members of the Full Council The vote was one abstenUon, the rest in favor.
The committee and the Full Council recom�end support of the pazking pernut petitions to change the pazlang

Three residents of Area 2 submitted petitions to intensify the permit parking restrictions because No Parking Except by Permit
8AM-8PM Mon: Fri. restriction allows Police to immediately tag violators without permits; whereas with One Hour Parking
8AM-SPM Mon.-Fri. Except by Permit restriction, police had to retum later to issue a ticket, which doesn't always happen.
Students take advantage of grace period. District Councii 12 supports these petitioners. (See attached letter).

At the meeting last night of the St Anthony Park Couununity Council, the matter of petitions to change a portion of
the wrrenY permit pazldng ordiI�ance for this neighborhood was brought forth from the Housing and Human Senrices
Committce.
T�S comm�ttee, at their January 26, 2000 meeting heard from residents who petitioned their block faces to change
the peimit parking ordinauce and affected residents, and the City, represented by you. The committee snpporte� a
maion ttiat was brought to the Fuil Council at their meeting on March 8, 2000. A number of residents of the
affected block faces also attended the meeting
After heazing the morion from the committee and discussioq the motion was amended slightty, then•�oted on by ihe
members of the Full Council The vote was one abstenUon, the rest in favor.
The committee and the Full Council recom�end support of the pazking pernut petitions to change the pazlang
restric[ions from the current one hour pazking, g a m— 5 p.m, Monday — Friday, except by permit azea 2 to no
F�� g am- — 8 p.m, Monciay — Friday, except by permit azea 2 on the following streets:
• Dudley Ave. from Cleveland Ave. to Chelmsford St
• Raymond Ave. from Dudiey Ave. [o Hendon Ave.
• Hythe St. from Dudiey Ave. to Birt'ord Ave.
• The north side of Hendon Ave. from Raymond Ave. to Hythe St.
• Both sides of Hendon Ave. from Hythe St to Chelmsford St
