THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1

Section 3 of Council File No. 96-624, adopted August 7, 1997, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
For a period of time not to exceed twelve (12) months. to�ether with an addifional
ei hteen (181 months, for a total of thirtti{301 months. from the effecfive date of this ordinance,
and for the purposes of prohibiting any development that might be inconsistent with the pending
study and any amendments to the City's Comprehensive Plan or Zoning Regularions, the
prohibitions shall continue in full force for the thirtv130) month period. or until such sooner time
� a comprehensive policy for the City can be adopted, and such prohibitions shall cease and be
