" . . . . - 1 � Presented By 1 RefeTxed TO ORDINANCE PAUL, MINNESOTA Committee: Date !y 1 WHEREA�ttt�,Sy}IIf Paul City Council has become aware of the substanual progress towards 2 rehabilitation of the building located at 651 Watson Avenue in Saint Pau1 presently slated for 3 demolition as a nuisance pursuant to resolution 96-1419 of this council; and 4 WHEREA5 the fee owner has now recommitted himself to the rehabilitation of the property, 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and is making substan6al progress to rehabilitate and reoccupy this properry, now therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the property owner be granted an extension of 90 days (from the date of adoption and approval of this resolution) to comply with the original abatement order found in council resolution 96-1419 on the additional conditions that (i) the fee owner will post a new $2,000.00 bond with the Building Inspecuon Department and complete the rehabilitation in accordance with all applicable codes and ordinances, and (2) city inspectors be granted complete access to both the interior and exterior of the property to monitor compliance progress and security, and (3) Furthermore if the above conective action is not completed within this period of time, Public Health, is hereby authorized to take whatever steps are necessary to demolish and remove this structure, fillthe site and charge the costs incurred againstthe Subject Property pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 45 of the Saint Paul I.egislative Code.
