WHEREAS, Mayor Norm Coleman has made the development of Saint Paul's
riverfront a top priority; and
WHEREAS, to ensure community input in any development plans, Mayor
Coleman organized a Riverfront Redevelopment meeting, held on
April 13, 1994, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to capture the
opinions of citizens of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the R.S.V.P. technology tracked information from individuals
representing neiqhborhoods, businesses, government, and concerned
citizens to identify areas of agreement and disagreement; and
WHEREAS, the information has been of great assistance in the further
development of plans and ideas for the new Riverfront Redevelopment
Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, the proper City officials are hereby authorized to pay
Maracek Cairns & Yelsey $2,862.15 for the RSVP system.
