Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, 5ection 473.604, I do hereby appoint
Patrick Harris, 1885 Bayard Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55116, a qualified voter of
the City of Saint Paul, to serve on my behalf as a member of the Metropolitan Airports
Commission during my term of office as Mayar of the City of Saint Paul, effective
January 3, 2006.
7 Councilmember Harris has served as a board member and President of the Macalester-
8 Groveland Community Council, is a current boazd member of the Saint Paul Riverfront
9 Corporation, and has worked for numerous other community organizations to improve
10 Saint Paul's neighborhoods. In addition to serving on the City Council, Harris is a Vice
11 President at a local investment firm, where he is active in a number of professional
12 finance organizations.

14 Harris graduated from Cretin High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from
15 Marquette University. In addition, Harris has an M.B.A. from the University of
16 Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
