ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
W HEREAS, Saint Paul Public Library volunteers enhance services that are provided by offering a wide variety of talents,
skills and time to assist in Library programs and tasks, and
WHEREAS, about 600 adult and 214 youth volunteers contributed over 21,800 hours in 2007, and
W HEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library will hold a volunteer recognition dinner program at the Saint Paul RiverCentre
on April 30th, 2008 and a youth volunteer pizza parly recognition in the fall of 2008, and
W HEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library has received monies from The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library to pay
for the events, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, It is ordered that Iibrary officials are authorized and directed to undertake the
staging of the events and remit the cost not to exceed $9,000 for the program to the proper parties.
