Recreation Grant Program, for the Sandy Lake Soccer Facility Development Project, which will provide
for the construction of six (6) tournament sized soccer fields and related site work including parking,
restroom facility, and landscaping.
24. Resolution - 04 -260 - Authorizing the proper City officials to apply for and, upon approval of the
application, enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Natural and
Scenic Area Grant Program, for Henry Park Land Acquisition, which will preserve and protect the
Mississippi River Bluff area, provide a trail connection and connect existing open space.
25. Resolution - 04 -261 - Authorizing the Division of Parks and Recreation to apply to the Department of
Natural Resources Federal Recreation Trail Program for $63,000 in funds to help renovate the trails in
Furness Parkway and Marydale Park, and if the award is granted, to enter into necessary agreements to
implement the project.
26. Resolution Approving Assessment - 04 -262 - In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and
expenses for the replacement of a lead water service connection as requested by the property owner at
497 Ohio Street and setting the date of public hearing for April 28, 2004.
27. Resolution Approving Assessment - 04 -263 - In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and
expenses for improving Selby Avenue from Kent Street to Avon Street, and improving Dale Street from
Selby Avenue to approximately 110 feet north of Selby Avenue and approximately 110 feet south of

28. Resolution Approving Assessment - 04 -264 - In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and
expenses for the construction of a twin lantern street lighting system (above standard) on the northwest
side of East Seventh Street from approximately 104 feet northeast of Beech Street to Minnehaha Avenue,
and the southeast side of East Seventh Street from Beech Street to Mendota Street/Minnehaha Avenue
