9. Resolution - 01 -21 - Authorizing the Department of Fire and Safety Services to accept a donation of
$5,000.00 from Local 21 for the awards banquet to be held on February 8, 2001.
10. Resolution - 01 -22 - Authorizing the Department of Fire and Safety Services to accept a donation of

17. Resolution - 01 -29 - Amending the 1993 Capital Improvement Budget by deleting the Mississippi
River Boulevard Trail Construction - 1993 Project due to being inadvertently included in both of the
1993 and 1994 budgets.
18. Resolution - 01 -30 - Amending the 1992 Capital Improvement Budget to accurately reflect the
Cochrane Park Fountain Restoration Project funding.

19. Resolution - 01 -31 - Amending the Department of Planning and Economic Development's
Governmental Employment and Training Program 2000 year budget for the Workforce Vendors of the
welfare to work Federal program.
20. Resolution - 01 -32 - Establishing a 2000 financing and spending plan in the Office of Citizen
Service /Property Code Enforcement for the Railroad Island and Econ Weed and Seed Grant Programs.
21. Resolution - 01 -33 - Amending Council File No. 00 -1031 (adopted on November 1, 2000,) by
removing the word "sewer" easements, as it only applied to the release of a slope easement taken for use
during alley construction in the block bounded by McLean Avenue, Bates Avenue, Mound Street, and
Elliot Place.

22. Considering the application of Al and Linda Huey for subdivision by lot split (22 foot wide parcel
running from the south side of 718 Maryland Avenue West to Grotto Street) of property of Independent
School District 625 to be tied to 718 Maryland Avenue West. (Public Hearing held and laid over from
January 3)
23. Resolution - 00 -1205 - Accepting conveyance of Lot 2, Block 2 in Phalen Village (District 2) less
the westerly 19 feet from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) for open space purposes.
(Reconsidered (originally adopted on December 27), amended, and laid over from January 3)
ORDINANCES
24. Final Reading - 00 -1172 - An ordinance to provide for the assessment and collection of fees for
excessive police and nuisance enforcement services. (Substitute introduced on January 3)
25. Final Reading - 00 -1189 - An ordinance providing for the collection of refuse and the assessment
and collection of service charges for such services. (To be withdrawn on January 10) (See Replacement
Ordinance - Item No. 27 - C.F. 01 -19)
26. Second Reading - 01 -11 - An ordinance amending Chapter 33.04(G)(8) of the Saint Paul Legislative
Code by changing the inspection permit fee rates for fire sprinkler systems by eliminating the $48.00 fee
for the first ten sprinkler heads and increasing the rate from $10.00 to $15.50 for each ten sprinkler
heads or fraction thereof.
27. Second Reading - 01 -19 - An ordinance providing for the collection of refuse and the assessment
and collection of service charges for such services.
28. First Reading - 01 -34 - An ordinance amending Sections of Chapter 66 of the Saint Paul Zoning
Code pertaining to the repair of advertising signs as recommended by the Saint Paul Planning
Commission pursuant to Council File No. 97 -1658 and Minnesota Statutes Section 462.355, Subdivision
