Media One, and Capital City Partnership for the broadcast of the State of the City speech held on
February 29, 2000.
8. Resolution - 00 -254 - Authorizing the Department of Public Works to apply for a loan from the Public
Facilities Authority (PFA) to finance the Sewer Rehabilitation Program for 1999 ($4.25 million) and
2000 ($4.715 million) and to designate the Director of Public Works to execute those agreements.
9. Resolution - 00 -255 - Authorizing the proper City officials to enter into an agreement with the Port
Authority for public improvements on Topping Street between Dale Street and Como Avenue.
10. Resolution - 00 -256 - Concurring with the resolution of the Metropolitan Council amending the
sewage flow calculation for the City of Saint Paul.
11. Resolution - 00 -257 - Authorizing the St. Paul Police Department to enter into an agreement with
Dakota County Technical College to provide instructions for the Pursuit and Emergency Vehicle
Operations training course on March 10 & 13, 2000.
12. Resolution - 00 -258 - Allowing the Prom Management Group to use the City's Liquor License at

Code which provided for the granting of franchises to telecommunications companies.

27. Report from the Administration on the requirements of State Statute and the ordinance relating to
membership on the Heritage Preservation Commission. (Report requested by Council on March 8, 2000)
28. Third Reading - 00 -219 - An ordinance amending C.F. 99 -1063, which had been enacted pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes § 462.355, Subd. 4 and which pertained to possible amendments to city zoning
regulations relating to trucking facilities, by adding new language which extends its expiration date to
coincide with the effective date of new regulations adopted in Council File 00 -130.
29. Third Reading - 00 -237 - An ordinance amending Section 310.19 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code;
modifying the investigation services required from a security agency to be selected and contracted with
the City of Saint Paul to provide alcohol awareness training to liquor - licensed establishments in order to
receive a 7% discount on the liquor license fee.
30. Resolution - 00 -270 - Ordering the owner to remove or repair the building at 294 Charles Avenue
within fifteen (15) days from adoption of resolution. (Legislative Hearing Officer recommends
approval)
31. Resolution - 00 -271 - Ordering the owner to remove or repair the building at 783 Como Avenue
within fifteen (15) days from adoption of resolution. (Legislative Hearing Officer recommends laying

32. Appeal of William Johnson to a summary abatement order for property located at 55 Atwater Street.

33. Resolution - 00 -272 - Approving the vacation of property described as Lot 1, Block 11, Irvine's

34. Resolution - 00 -273 - Approving the petition of Saint Paul Public Schools for the vacation of those
portions of York Avenue, Weide Street, Upper and Lower Wells Streets, Walsh Street, and the east west
