Outside agencies participating in the task force aze not compensated for their staff s time by the task force. This training is essential for the invesUgator to have a working knowledge on exanuning computers for evidence. This is specialized training and there is no local source of tlris specialized training. The Crow Wing Counry Sheriffs Office ttas signed a memorandum of understanding with the police department relating to the ICAC task force. The ICAC grant has funds set aside to cover this type of training. ADVANTAGESIFAPPROVED Approval of the adminislraUVe order will allow the task force to send an ICAC task force participant who is not a city employee to receive training on Basic Data Recovery & Analysis for use in the task force.
