1 WHEREas, This policy is established to promote personal conduct which is compatible wjth the hust

4 RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to approve this policy as follows:
6 The City of Saint Paul prohibits City Employees from engaging in any and all forms of gambling,
7 whether legai or illegal, on City property, on City time ar with City equipment except where such action
8 is specificaliy required as part of the employee job duties. This includes but is not limited to the
9 exchange of money or goods on cards, pools, ar other games of chance such as paycheck poker, tip
10 board tickets, gambling on sporting events, raffles, etc. other forms of lawful gambling may be
11 conducted with the permission of the deparCmenE�'irec or.
12 Violation of this policy � result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
