I l Resolution - 98 -478 - Requesting the Director of the Departmentof Public Works to work with other City officials to establishboundaries for Residential Daily Hauling Districts and to create acity -wide plan whereby collection of mixed municipal solid waste isconducted on a single day each week that corresponds to theResidential Daily Hauling District specified by an ordinance whichwill be considered by the Council. ORDINANCES 14.Final Adoption - 98 -373 - An ordinance amending Chapter 361 ofthe Legislative Code to require tow companies to verify the vehiclestatus prior to towing and to notify the last known owner of thevehicle. 15.Final Adoption - 98 -374 - An ordinance amending the Saint PaulCharter to provide for voting requirements in case of abstentions forconflict of interest. 16.Final Adoption - 98 -375 - An ordinance to regulate conflicts ofinterest for City officials and employees who are offered, or leavethe City for, private employment. 17.Final Adoption - 98 -407 - An ordinance amending Chapter 324 ofthe Saint Paul Legislative Code to prohibit tobacco vending machinesin facilities where minors are present and to establish anadministrative penalty to be imposed against the clerk at a licensedpremise who sells tobacco or tobacco products to a minor. 18.Final Adoption - 98 -408 - An ordinance finalizing City Councilaction taken April 1, 1998 approving a petition of Como NorthtownCredit Union to rezone property located at 965/967 Churchill Streetfrom RT -1 to B -2. (Public hearing was held April 1) 19.Second Reading - 98 -458 - An ordinance amending Chapter 402 ofthe Saint Paul Legislative Code to delete an obsolete reference toanother portion of the Code. 20.Second Reading - 98 -459 - An ordinance amending the Saint PaulLegislative Code Chapter 369.06; changing the expiration date onBuilding Trades Business Licenses from December 31 of the year issuedto December 1. 21.Second Reading - 98 -460 - An ordinance to regulate fires,lighted coals and fuels on multi -unit residential balconies andpatios. 22.First Reading - 98 -480 - An ordinance to regulate thecollection of mixed municipal solid waste from residential propertiesby (1) dividing the City into "Residential Daily Hauling Districts "and (2) limiting the regular weekly collection of mixed municipalsolid waste from those properties to one day per week in each suchdistrict.
