WfiEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library will hold a volunteer recognition program at the
Saint Paul Radisson Inn on May 8th, 2003 and a youth volunteer recognition in the fall of
2003, and
WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library has received monies from The Friends of the Saint
Paul Public Library to pay for the events,
NOW, TAEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, It is ordered that library officials are authorized and
directed to undertake the staging of the events and remit the cost not to exceed $7,500
for the program to the proper parties.

The Library, with monies provided by The Friends of the Library, will have a volunteer recognition
or adults in May at the Radisson Inn in Saint Paul. The Library will also hold a pizza party volunteer
, ecognition in the fall for youths, their families, and other invited guests.
