WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department's Professional Development Institute is sponsoring a
course on Breaking the Routine: Pield Training Officer Instruction and Certification.
Wf�REAS, this course is scheduled for December 9- 13, 2002, and will be conducted at Hamline
University, Law and Graduate Building 12m 005, 1536 Hewitt Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
WI�REAS, this training is specifically designed to train law enforcement personnel from outside
agencies to serve as Field Training Officers to assist probationary employees.
WITEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department will provide a continental breakfast at this training.
BE IT ORDERED that pursuant to the 2002 City Budget, the proper City Officials are hereby authorized
to remit an amount not to exceed $600.00 to Byerly's located at 1959 Suburban Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota
S S ll 9. This is to cover expenses far food service for the participants in the Field Training Officer Course. This
includes morning break and snacks for this course.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
