WHEREAS, the City will conduct it's annual Administrative/Clerical Coference in
collaboration with Ramsey County on September 18 and 26, 2002 at the Landmark
Center.
WHEREAS, the conference titled "Collaboration is Ke}�', will provide up to 200 City
employees the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops designed to develop their
professional skills.
WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources is responsible for providing 50% of the
following costs:
- Speaker fees.
- Refreshments and other miscellaneous supplies for up to 400
individuals.
Now therefore, be it ordered, that the Office of Human Resources be authorized to
reimburse various vendors for costs incurred not to exceed four thousand five hundred
dollars ($4,500.00) which will be paid out of the General Fund, Activity Q0164
