MINUTES OF THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING
JUNE 27, 2006
The regular meeting of the Port Authority Board was held on June 27, 2006 at
2:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul, 1900
Landmark Towers, 345 St. Peter Street, St. Paul, Minnesota.
The following Commissioners were present:
- Andy Boss
- Joan Grzywinski
- Dan Bostrom
- John Regal
Also present were the following:
- Ken Johnson - Laurie Hansen
- Terry Garvey, General Counsel - Lorrie Louder
- Mike Galvin, Briggs & Morgan - Bill Morin
- Robyn Hansen — Leonard Street & Deinard - Tom Collins
- Branda Yoch and her father Richard - Bruce Gehrke
- Megan Kraushaar - Annie Harder
- Sarahi Mateo and her brother Augustine - Monte Hilleman
- Deb Forbes
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Regal made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Bostrom, to
approve the minutes of the May 23, 2006 meeting. The motion was carried
unanimously.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
None of the Commissioners had a conflict of interest with the items on the
agenda.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Johnson noted that we have a glimpse of some of the best students who are
the future of Saint Paul with us and introduced Tom Collins, Director of Marketing and
Communications, who presented the Community Reinvestment Scholarships to three
stellar students who were selected by the Saint Paul Port Authority for their
achievements. Each student will continue their education in Minnesota. Mr. Collins first
introduced Sarahi Mateo, a graduate of Arlington High School (Saint Paul), who will
