Bill Huepenbecker, Director of Intergovernmental Relations, and Mary-Helen Mische, Mayor's
Office, appeared before the Council. Mr. Huepenbecker disseminated a legislative update and
together with Ms. Mische reviewed the main issues at the Legislature: rebates,the tax bill, Tax
Increment Financing laws, Workforce Development efforts, an automated camera system for traffic
tickets, and Metro Regional Parks funding.
Council President Thune asked if there could be a presentation on the camera system and Mr.
Huepenbecker responded in the affirmative.
