ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, In the matter of that certain contract known as Contract No.
L-8377 for ST. ANTHONY HILL SEWER REHABILITATION (St. Albans Tunnel) , City Project
No. 79-S-0971A2, Lametti ? Sons, Inc. , Contractor, the current specified date of
completion is April 1, 1981 for all tunnel construction phases and is June 1, 1981
for all above ground restoration, and the Contractor did not complete the contract by
said date of completion because of extra work being added to the contract, because of
difficulty in scheduling sub-contractors, and because the nature of the project provides
only one location of access for tunnel construction and that made it extremely difficult
to accelerate construction, and it is hereby
ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul, through its Mayor, extends the time of completion
to June 1, 1981 for all tunnel construction phases and to July 1, 1981 for all above
ground restoration, provided however, that this Order shall have no force or effect
unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in
writing with the Head of the Finance Department of the City of Saint Paul; and it is
FURTHER ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul does not waive all claim for liquidated
damages and that engineering and inspection costs on this project may be charged to the
Contractor for such extended period.

Above Ground Restoration - July 1, 1981
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
The Contractor did not complete the project by the specified date of completion
because of extra work being added to the contract, because of difficulty in schedu-
ling sub-contractors, and because the nature of the project provides only one
location of access for tunnel construction operations.
