ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
The Department of Finance and Management Services is hereby directed to
prepare a pay voucher for a refund of $850.00 previously collected
for Sewer Availability Charge (SAC) to:
Richard J. Gimpl
1239 Rice Street
St. Paul, Minnesota
Subject refund is the result of the property owner securing a Building
Permit for construction of a new building, prior to securing a Demolition
Permit to remove the existing old building. The proper sequence of
these events would have eliminated the necessity to pay subject SAC charge.
The property is legally described as Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Kranz Division and
Lot 7, Block 1, Pigotts Carbon Street Addition.
Further subject refund is to be reported to the Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission for proper recordation.

ACTION REOUESTED:
Authority to refund $850.00 Sewer Availability Charge collected in 1979.
Subject action is requested by the property owner Richard J. Gimpl,
1239 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota and is evidenced by Finance
• Department Receipt No. A2043, dated June 29, 1979, and Demolition Credit
S249 and S301, dated September 3, 1980.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
Property owner paid $850.00 SAC charge, prior to securing a Demolition
Permit. The Demolition Permit cancelled out the SAC payment requirement,
resulting in an overpayment to the City.
