CONTRACT CHANGE AGREEMENT NO. 3
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, Whereas, additions which proved to be necessary to the Improvement described
as construction of two skyway bridges from Town Square, Bid Package "C"
known as Contract.,-0 1336,f 6Project No. 17 KNUTSON CONSTRUCTION CO.
Contractor, is composed of the following:
HAUNCH CLOSURE PLATES AND BARRIER SCREEN
Provide all equipment, material and labor required to add and install
1 . additional 4" exterior steel closure plates at bridge haunches to
close and weatherproof visible openings on either side of the bridge
at Town Square, and
2. necessary new chain link fencing with metal frame at grille openings
at sides and above bridge roof inside the Northwestern National Bank
Parking Ramp,
all in accordance with the attached Exhibits "A" thru "C". All work
is to be accomplished in a neat, first class, professional manner and further
subject to:
A. satisfactory completion of all contract stipulations and covenants
as a result of the aforementioned change and all work affected thereby;
B. the rights of the HRA are not prejudiced;and
C. all claims against the HRA which are incidental to or as a consequence of the
aforementioned change are satisfied.
ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul , through its Mayor,*approves the foregoing additions made in ac-
cordance with the specifications in the sum of $ 3,534.00 , said amount to be added to the lump sum con-
sideration named in the contract, known as contract L- 8397—m , and which amount is to be financed from:
HRA Capitol Centre (R-20) Urban Renewal Bond Funds. The contract time

RE: Contract Change Agreement No. 3 to Skyway Bridges from Town Square,
Bid Package "C", Contract No. G-1336
ACTION REQUESTED:
An increase of the above contract price as a result of additional
contract work requested by City/HRA.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION :
1 . Additional work is necessary for minor weatherproofing/finishing and
increased security at the Northwest Crossing/Town Square bridge roof.
2. All costs have been reviewed by the bridge architects and HRA, and
found to be satisfactory.
3. Sufficient Urban Renewal Bond Funds remain in the budget to cover
this additional cost.
