We, the undersigned, being all of the owners of property on the line of Maurice Street, formerly known as lvlaur•iscoe Street , between Louisa Street and Dearborn Street, in the City of St. Paul, Minnesota, respectfully petition your honorable body to vacate the 1 w sterly twenty-two (22 ) feet and the Easterly twenty-two (22 ) feet of said, Maurice Street between said Louisa Street and Dearborn Street . The reasons for said vacation are that said street as platted is sixty (60 ) feet in width, but has never been graded or used as a street, being fifteen ( 15 ) to twenty ( 20 ) feet above Louisa and Dearborn Streets at their intersections with said Maurice Street. Your petitioners are advised that the grading of said Maurice Street, between Louisa and Dearborn Streets would cost ap- proximately Five thousand dollars (t5,000.00 ). Your petitioners therefore desire and request that the City of St . Paul retain six- teen ( 16 ) feet in the center of said Maurice Street as a public alley, and vacate that portion of said Maurice Street on the East- erly and Westerly sides thereof, as above set forth. 4-0/- / _.4.,./-/' 0 IL=-_,.._..r2://---,e, ` a 1 O+vi4,,.e ja4Ti-44tA /07 =,.. s-o-p-4.44, ,i _- ... _Itle‘r -' .....4- ----,_k ",/,,e4 7 a 7 ,-..S-6-A% .elPi, ht...-.),-.-c-f-.
