Gentlemen:- Pursuant to direction of the Committee on Streets of the Board of Aldermen , I transmit herewith proper form of resolution vacating Spring street from the southwesterly terminus thereof to a line drawn from the southeasterly corner of Lot 7 in Block 3 , to the northeasterly corner of Lot 9 in Block 6 , in Re-arrangement of Oppenheim' s Addition, upon petition of Wilhelmina. Keller and others . The Committee did not fix any compensation for the vacation; consequently I have put in the resolution ?10 in addition to the expenses of the proceeding , which as I understand is the maximum compensation under the policy of the Common Council . Ilk t I V1I REAS , There was heretofore presented to the Board of l‘ Aldermen, one of the branches of the Common Council of the City of St . Paul , the petition of Wilhelmina Keller and others, the owners of all the land and property abutting upon and adjoining the street hereinafter described, praying for the vacation of Spring street from the south- westerly terminus thereof to a line drawn from the southeasterly corner of Lot 7 in Block 3 , to the northeasterly corner of Lot 9 in Block 6 , all in Re-arrangement of Oppenheim' s Addition to St . Paul, Minnesota, and more particularly described and shown upon the plat annexed to said petition, which said petition is duly verified as required by law and sets forth the facts and reasons for such vacation; and A. ° WHEREAS , The said Board of Aldermen deemed it expedient that the matter therein referred to should be proceeded with and ordered said - ' petition and accompanying plat to be filed of record in the office of the City Clerk of said City , and ordered said City Clerk to give notice 1� by publication in the official paper of said City in the manner and for the time required by law, that said petition and the subject matter there- of would be heard and considered by the Committee on Streets of said Board of Aldermen at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Cham- ber in the Court House and City Hall. Building in said City on the 10th day of December , 1908, at four o' clock P .
