PAUL: Gentlemen: The undersigned, owners of property abutting the pro- posed improvem=ent respectfully request. That by proper ordinance you order the vacation of the Alley in Block Numbered. Three of LOVPRINf ' S FACTORY, WARE- HOUSE AND TRANSFER R.OP, RTY as COLORED RED in diagram of same hereto attached. This Alley has never been graded or made use of in any manner and the object of now asking this vacation is on ac- count of proposed re-arrangement of the entire b..lock and when . replatted the owners will erect substantial improvements thereon for factory purposes and also employ a large force of employees in their business, thereby adding greatly to the general wel- fare and prosparity of the city. Paul , that the alley in Block three (3) of Lovering' s Factory , Warehouse and Transfer property , colored red and shown upon the plat annexed to said petition, be and the same is hereby vacated and discontinued as a public alley, subject , however , to the following conditions , that is to say: Such vacation is upon the condition that said petitioners shall pay into the Treasury of said City the expenses of this proceeding, as compensation for such vacation.
