Paul that all that part of the alley lying between Lots 5 and 6 on the east and Lot 7 on the west, in Block forty-four (44) of St . Anthony Park North, Tte ,-, and , respectfully request your honorable body to vacate that portion of an alley which runs between lots 5 and 6 on the east and lot 7 on the west , and from Knapp street to the alley north of Lot 7, Block 44, St . Anthony Park, North Addition, in the City, of St . Paul, County or Ramsey, State of Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof on file in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said city, county and state above noted, for the reason that , The above alley not being used and never h! v ng been used for a public highway or alley. This portion of the alley runs up a steep hill and is never used as a highway. All the other alleys are on the level or easy grades from the streets , a- d hence are used to the exclusion of the alley-way which we desire to vacate . Block 44 is well supplied with alleys otherwise . Closing this portion of the alley described will not affect the alley rights of other property in the block . There is one residence on lots 7 and 8, and -wo arc planning that there shal]. be but one on lots 4, 5 and 6. Use to be made of this alley if vacated is for shrubbery and ornamental plantation.
