1901 (5) ' ►,rr- � TO THE CO3,10N COUNCIL: The undersigned , owner of all of the property on the line of that portion of that certain street in the city of St.Paul known as Palace street lying between Webster Street and Oneida Street, as is more particularly shown by the plat thereof, hereto annexed and hereby made a part hereof, respectfully petition your honorable body to order the vacation of that portion of the street aforesaid lying and being between Webster and Oneida Streets aforesaid and to close the same to public travel . The reasons assigned by your petitioner for this his petition and request, is that he is the owner of and is now main- taining extensive buildings on either side of said street and is desirous of erecting further and other buildings upon the block owned and held by him, and on either side of and upon the ground occupied by said Pa- lace street, and in consideration of the vacation and closing of said street as aforesaid, the undersigned, your petitioner, herein and here- by binds himself to whatever conditions your honorable body may see fit to impose .
