1901 (2) .s . ,. ,,f(72 WHEREAS, it appears that the board of public works, under the directions of the board of park commissioners, has completed the necessary steps and proceedings looking to the appropriation and condemnation of certain land within the limits of the city of St. Paul for use by the public as a public park to be known as Phalen Park; and WHEREAS, it is, in the opinion of the common council, both desirable and urgent that all of the streets and avenues within the limits of the said Phalen Park should be placed under the jurisdiction of the said board of park commissioners for park purposes, and for those alone; and Whereas, the said board of park commissioners has requested that those portions ot/"Hilton street, Lakeside Avenue, Idaho Avenue, Vere Street, Hoyt Avenue, Villa Avenue, Forest Street, Ufton Place, View Place, Cypress Street , Minneapolis Avenue, 'Phalen Avenue, Vassar Avenue, St. Pates.
