ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
WHEREAS, the Division of Pazks and Recreation is rebuilding the Rice Pazk fountain, and the sculpture
located in the fountain, The Source, by Alonzo Hanser, upon removal and inspection has been found to be in need of
restoration work, and
WHEREAS, the restaration and reinstallation process is being managed and coordinated by Public Art Saint
Paul at the request of the Division of Parks and Recreation, and
WI�REAS, Public Art Saint Paul is being compensated for this work in the amount of $13,500.00, as
described in Administrative Order D002030, and
WHEREAS, Public Art Saint Paui has incurred certain additional costs and expenses to complete the sculpture
restoration and reinstallation,
THEREFORE, it is ordered that the proper City officiais are hereby authorized and directed to pay Public Art
Saint Paul for its additional costs and expenses of restoration and reinstallation of the Rice Park fountain sculpture an
�ount not to exceed $1,508.00.

In Aprii 2001, Public Art Saint Paul was retained to manage and coordinate the restoration of the sculpture located in the
Rice Park fountain. It is necessary to provide additional compensation to Public Art Saint Paui for unexpected work
encountered during the restoration process.
