ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, that the following repair work is authorized as an
emergency to disassemble one #429 Hough Tractor Shovel purchased in 1967 to
determine the extent of repair required to the engine and the articulation
assembly. This vendor is the only factory authorized repair facility for
Hough Equipment. The initial estimate prior to the disassembling of the unit
was approximately $3.,000.00 but the condition required extensive repair to
the engine and the articulation. Hall Equipment Ccmpany is the only source
for factory service in this area and the Public Works Garage is not equipped
to do major repair on this type of equipment.
Full cost of overall and final adjustments.....$6,240.67
