ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
In the matter of STORM WATER PONDING LAND ACQUISITION, wherein the
Department of Public Works is to purchase the following described lands
for the retention of storm water:
Lots 1 , 2, 3, 4, Block 1 , Dawson's Fifth Addition, Lot 9, Block 2,
Clarke's 2nd Addition; Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 , 12, Block 3, Clarke's
2nd Addition; Also, that portion of unplatted land lying south
of Block 3, Clarke's 2nd Addition and Arkwright Street and Clarke
Street and lying northerly of Wheelock Parkway.
This purchase is needed because of the limited capacity available in
the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission's sewer in Westminster Street
and will serve as a means of regulating peak storm water flows into the
sewer from the drainage area.
The Department of Finance and Management Services is hereby authorized
and directed to proceed with the necessary action to accomplish the
acquisition of the above said lands.
• The cost of said acquisition is estimated to be in the amount of
$7150.00, said sum to be paid from PIR Fund No. 60000-736-00
to be reimbursed from 1975 PIA fund.
