ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, In the matter of that certain contract known as Contract
No. L-7811 for the widening and resurfacing of SYNDICATE STREET - St. Anthony to
University, Grading and Paving GRIGGS STREET - St. Anthony to University and Widen-
ing and Resurfacing of DUNLAP STREET Central to University and Grading and Paving
DUNLAP STREET - Bigelow to Central, Project Nos. 75-P-0541, P-0542, and P-0512,
Shafer Contracting Company, Inc., Contractor, the specified date of completion is
August 1, 1975, and because of work stoppages caused by the unsettled labor union
contracts he was not able to complete the contract by said date of completion, it
is hereby
ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul, through its Mayor, extends the time of
completion to August 31, 1975, provided however, that this Order shall have no
force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and
file such consent in writing with the Head of the Finance Dep&rtment of the City
of St. Paul; and it is
FURTHER ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated
damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged
to the Contractor for such extended period.
