ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER MAY 12 1975

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the premises at 688 Selby Avenue in
the City of Saint Paul, being in an extremely dilapidated
condition due to age, decay and improper maintenance, and there
being serious danger of the building collapsing, and the Division
of Housing and Building Code Enforcement having advised the Mayor
that the premises is open to vandals and presents a serious danger
to the health and safety of the citizens of the area and, further,
the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement having
advised the Mayor that the premises is beyond repair, now, therefore,
the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant to the powers vested in
him by law and charter, hereby declares a state of emergency with
regard to the premises known as 688 Selby Avenue, said structure
being an old barn in the rear of the property, and in order to
protect the lives and safety of neighboring residents, particularly
children, hereby
ORDERS the proper City officials to immediately proceed with the
razing and destruction of the structure identified above and to
assess the costs thereof against the land pursuant to statute and,
be it
• FURTHER ORDERED, that the proper City officials in the Division
of Housing and Building Code Enforcement are further directed to
contact the record owner of this property, Capitol Supply Co. , Inc.#
to advise them of the foregoing action and serve a copy of this
Order upon them
