ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul and
Harry Chiles, D.V.M. have settled a claim against Coates Trailer
and Motor Sales for damage to a public sidewalk at 1000 North Dale
Street, the condition of said settlement being that Coates Trailer
and Motor Sales restore said sidewalk to a condition satisfactory
to the Department of Public Works; and,
WHEREAS, Said sidewalk has been repaired to the satisfaction of
the Department of Public Works by Area Cement Company; and
WHEREAS, the Gulf Insurance Group has issued check number 6-578615
payable to the City of Saint Paul and Harry Chiles, D.V.M. in the
amoRn.t of $338.00 for the cost of the restoration of the sidewalk;
and,
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul has no interest in said check
since the restoration work was performed by Area Cement Company;
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, That the proper city officials endorse the
aforementioned check payable to the order of Area Cement Company
and forward same to Area Cement Company, 187 Brookview Court,
Saint Paul, Minnesota.
